The main reason for this website is that the Bible tells us very plainly to search the scriptures and see if the things men are saying and teaching about God are true.

When I first heard of the Gap Theory/Gap Fact it was from my (then) pastor back in 2013. It struck me immediately because it seemed contrary to what I thought the Bible said plainly in Genesis 1. At first, I honestly did not search the bible, my instinct was to immediately go to someone or some website I trusted. I learned over time that very few people actually understood this view of creation and truly studied what these brothers believed. I debated with my (then) pastor and very dear friends for years on the subject and it honestly did not produce any fruit but rather divisions and confusion. I know I was mainly responsible for the division/confusion because I truly did not STUDY what these men were saying and compare it with the scriptures like Acts 17:11 tells us too.

Over the next 10 years found myself consistently burdened to study this topic and the relevant Bible passages. As I studied the Bible and learned and saw many new things, I pushed away the idea of sharing what I learned because of the prior conflicts within my friendships and even within my own family.

Eventually in 2023 I came to the conviction that I had to do something with the 10+ years of studying this important topic and produce something that I could share with others including my family and friends. This website is the fruit of that labor. I have poured over hours and hours of sermons on the topics, bought hundreds of dollars of books on the subject and engaged where I could with many of the top proponents of the Gap Fact directly.

Lastly, I am just another finite human being, I do not claim to have the corner on truth. Only God and the Bible has that. This website is simply what I think the Bible says and doesn’t say on this subject. If you read and study and find different Biblical conclusions, please share them with me via the contact form. I look forward to learning more about the Bible and the God who created this world we currently inhabit. I am not above Biblical correction and exhortation. Because of that, this website may change from time to time as more Biblical incite is brought to light.
