Did you catch his subtle mis-interpretation/quoting of the scripture. He says ” He makes him anointed cherub over the holy mountain of God.”

Go back and read what the scripture ACTUALLY says: It says he “wast upon“. Meaning he had simply been there. He was NEVER in charge of the holy mountain of God. In Eze 28:16 God says:

“I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:”

This phrase “I will” means future and it hasn’t happened yet. Satan still has access to the Holy Mountain of God as seen in Job 1:6-7

Job 1:6-7 – 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. 7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Exodus 25:20a And the cherubims shall stretch forth [their] wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings,
Exodus 37:9a And the cherubims spread out [their] wings on high, [and] covered with their wings over the mercy seat

The above verses seem to indicate that a cherub covering something is simply meaning spreading their wings over and maybe guarding and protecting something?

1 Kings 8:7 For the cherubims spread forth [their] two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

The Bible shows us there are MANY Cherubs that COVER. But does the scripture does not indicate a Cherub Covering something means dominion over a Kingdom. It seems to be a job or purpose to protect something. The belief that Covering Cherub = Dominion over a previous Kingdom here on earth is a made up private interpretation. I personally believe it is the result of coming to the bible with an agenda.

Lets see what the Bible says about Satan’s throne and examine it.

1. Isaiah 14:13-14  – 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
2. Facts to note about the above verses
   • These I’ll fated statements are nothing but wishful thinking about the future.
   • This throne is on the Earth (His current throne)
   • He says this throne will be exalted above the “stars of God” and he will ascend above “the clouds”
3. Multiple Problems for the Gap :
   • There is ZERO scripture that says there were stars or clouds in the single heaven and unformed water covered earth of Gen 1:1.
     • The clouds are not made UNTIL Day 2 of Creation
       • Psalm 104:3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
     • The Stars of God are not made UNTIL Day 4 of Creation
       • Genesis 1:16 KJV And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: [he made] the stars also.
     • I have no idea how the Gap Fact crowd addresses these stars and clouds listed in the fall of lucifer other than private interpretation. In reality they either missed it or are ignoring it and turning a blind eye.

4. When you read for instance Michael Pearls book on this subject. He quotes these verses and never addresses or even try’s to explain this problem.

5. There are numerous Bible verses about Satan’s current throne. ZERO about a previous throne…
   • Matthew 4:8-9 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
   • John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
   • John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
   • John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
   • 2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
   • Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
   • Revelation 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, [even] where Satan’s seat [is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas [was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
